Please join us Saturday, October 22 for a personal appearance by designer Konstantino Sioulas.
Born in Greece, Konstantino was raised amid the beauty and majesty of one of the oldest civilizations in the world.
“Greece, for me, is a land of magnificent contrasts. Blinding light and forbidding darkness. Crashing seas and arid farmlands. Frenetic cosmopolitan cities amid ancient ruins.”
“As a boy, my playground was the architecture of the Acropolis and the Temple of Delphi. My village belonged to the warrior, Achilles...knowing that this famous warrior from Greek history had lived in my birthplace, has had a lifelong effect on me.”
“I was enthralled with Greek history, art and the rich legacy of Greek gods and goddesses. This fueled my fascination with the artisanship of the earliest Greek jewelry designs.”
“All of these elements are etched in my soul...so every piece I design possesses my essence, my experiences, and my passion for Greece.”
“Creating modern expressions of ancient Greek jewelry became my life’s work.”
“My jewelry is timeless and universal. It comes from the core of civilization and the elements of the modern world.”
