Requirements

Our Certified watchmakers are responsible for performing tasks that require the application of CW21 standards and practices. This includes exhibiting AWCI’s code of ethics and the highest standards of workmanship in all aspects of the job.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing timepiece repair that requires extensive product knowledge and application of standard CW21 competencies, including diagnosis, service and quality control.
  • Thoroughly understand operation and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
  • Apply high standards of excellence to every job with compassion for customer sentiment.
  • Collaborate with staff and management while maintaining a timely, efficient workflow.
  • Strive for excellence in every area to ensure preservation of Meierotto's reputation for quality workmanship.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma and a graduate from a recognized watchmaking school
  • CW21 Certification
  • 2 years experience in a retail environment or service center, preferred

Our store features a state-of-the-art watch repair facility and more than 50 authorized watch brands in our showcase. Our watchmakers are provided the opportunity to service a wide variety of timepieces and receive factory training.

The expected salary for the Junior Watchmaker position is in the range of $40,000 - $50,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

The expected salary for the Senior Watchmaker position is in the range of $60,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
