The first time we saw this watch we knew it was something different. We dubbed this Omega watch the "Honeycomb" due to the intricate design featuring a structure of hexagonal cells comprising the cuffed bracelet. The watch is crafted from solid 18 karat gold and contains hand etching along the edges. This is an exquisite period piece.

This Omega watch contains the number 484 movement which was introduced in 1963; therefore this watch is likely from the 1960-1970 period. The timepiece itself is concealed behind a hinged cover. Historically, watches have been foremost functional so the uniqueness of this watch is the fact that the design aesthetics trump its functionality as a watch.

We are happy to share this glimpse of Omega’s exceptional history of watchmaking and proud to be Kansas City's foremost Omega watch dealer.
