Visual Merchandiser and Store Decor Specialist
Meierotto Jewelers is Kansas City’s leading jewelry store. We carry the largest selection of diamonds and jewelry, watches and more! We are located just minutes north of downtown Kansas City.
We are actively searching for a Visual Merchandiser and Store Decor Specialist to join our team. A successful candidate must be a hands-on, proactive team player with acute attention to detail. This full-time position is responsible for merchandising and organization of all jewelry, watches and accessories as well as maintaining the beauty and décor of showroom floor. The ideal candidate for this position is detail oriented, able to see projects that need to be done, make suggestions to better the store and able to take suggestions and direction from peers and managers.
Responsibilities

Merchandise and maintain sales floor showcases to ensure all jewelry, watches and accessories are displayed properly and visually appealing to drive sales

Organize and put away new product that arrives in store

Treat all jewelry, watches and accessories with care

Tidying up product after sales associates to maintain the image of the store and protect the quality of the merchandise

Change store décor seasonally or at the request of others

Assist sales associates with locating items

Collaborate with other staff during events to aid with special décor needed

Possibility of running errands for the store

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Keen eye and has extreme attention to detail

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Efficient and organized with strong written and verbal communication skills

Be able to notice when tasks need to be completed and be able to work independently and with peers

Reliable source of transportation

Must be able to lift 50lbs

Must be able to work Saturdays
Work hours & Benefits
This is a full-time position and will be located on-site with no option to perform tasks remote. Typical 5 day work week is Tuesday-Saturday and you must be available to work all hours of operation, plus opening and closing procedure time. We are closed between Christmas and New Years and most major holidays. Extended hours during December are required. May also be asked to work additional during special in-store events or training.
