Certified Watchmaker
Meierotto Jewelers is Kansas City’s leading jewelry store. We are located just minutes north of downtown Kansas City.
We are actively searching for a Certified Watchmaker to join our team who will be responsible for repairing and testing watches using our state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. Our Certified Watchmakers will service watches in-house and will provide the best quality of work.
Responsibilities

Service and maintain automatic, mechanical and quartz movememnt watches while adhering to each brand’s standards

Service and maintain other automatic, mechanical and quartz movement watches

Battery Replacement and link removal or all brands

Maintain watchmaking equipment and tools
Qualifications and Requirements

WOSTEP, CW21 or SAWTA certified

Prefer at least two (2) years of proven experience as a watchmaker

Knowledge of repairing or replacing commonly used watch calibers and movements preferred

Good organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure quality of craftsmanship

Experience with polishing techniques on luxury timepieces preferred

Must be able to work Saturdays
Work hours & Benefits
This is a full-time position and will be located on site with no option to perform tasks remote. Typical 5-day work week is Tuesday-Saturday. We are closed between Christmas and New Years and most major holidays. Open extended hours during the month of December. May be asked to work additional hours for special in-store events.
